I promise I will post the pictures of my trip this past weekend soon...but right now I am studying for a quiz in Quechua tomorrow. So I figured to help me study I would put some sentences up on here for you:
Rosemi sutiyqa. (My name is Rose.)
Ñuqaqa runasimi yachakuqmi kani. (I am a student of Quechua (runasimi))
Universidad Catolicapi yachakuni. (I study at la Universidad Catolica.)
Estados Unidos mantam kani. (I am from the United States.)
Pueblo Librepim tiyachkani. (I live in Pueblo Libre.)
Iskay chunka watay kanmi. (I am 20 years old.)
1 = huk
2= iskay
3= kimsa
4= tawa
5= pichqa
6= suqta
7= qanchis
8= pusaq
9= isqun
10= chunka
The "q" sound is especially hard...it is made in the back of your throat like "qha"
